Construction dust is unlike any other contamination commercial buildings face. It's abrasive, it carries silica, and it settles into HVAC systems, light fixtures, and electrical panels where standard cleaning can't reach.
The three phases of post-construction cleaning
Phase 1 — Rough clean. During final trade work, remove large debris, stickers, protective film, and bulk dust so finishing trades can complete their work.
Phase 2 — Final clean. Once trades are off site, every surface is detailed: glass, fixtures, casework, floors, vents, ceilings, and hardware.
Phase 3 — Touch-up. Right before occupancy, fingerprints, scuffs, and any new dust from punch-list work are removed.

- Inside light fixtures and exit signs
- Top of door frames and millwork
- HVAC supply and return diffusers
- Inside cabinets, drawers, and closets
- Window tracks and sliding door rails
