Cleaning by Material
Powder-Coated Steel
Neutral pH cleaner only. Alkaline or acidic cleaners will strip finish. Wipe dry to prevent water spotting.
Phenolic (Solid Plastic)
Most forgiving material. Any commercial cleaner works. Magic Eraser removes most graffiti.
Stainless Steel
Wipe with grain, never against. Stainless-specific cleaner monthly to prevent fingerprint accumulation.
Common Repairs
- Loose door latches: tighten set screws quarterly.
- Sagging doors: adjust hinge pivots or replace pivot pins.
- Graffiti: Magic Eraser on phenolic; graffiti remover on powder-coated (test first).
