In a downflow-cooled data hall, every CRAC/CRAH unit pressurizes the sub-floor plenum and pushes that air up through perforated tiles into the cold aisle. Whatever lives beneath the floor — construction dust, cable debris, insulation fragments, zinc whiskers, rodent droppings — is directly upstream of every rack intake. This is arguably the single most consequential space in the entire facility.

No. Sequenced tile lift lets units maintain pressurization within setpoint. We work with facility engineers to keep the BMS happy.
What if you find water damage or corrosion below the floor?
We stop, photograph, and notify your engineer immediately. Corrosion or wet insulation is a separate remediation scope we can quote.
How long does a full sub-floor cleaning take?
For a 10,000 sq ft hall, plan on 4–7 nights of change-window work depending on rack density and cable congestion.
